An exciting experience that takes visitors right into the heart of a mountain that reveals the wonders of the most powerful power plant in Trentino. The plant forms part of a structured system which, through a vast network of tunnels, penstocks and hydraulic works, takes water from the peaks of the Adamello to Lake Garda.
The plant building was designed by architect Giovanni Muzio, the brains behind the Università Cattolica and Palazzo della Triennale buildings in Milan, as well as the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth. The spectacular turbine room of the Santa Massenza plant, with a volume of over 150,000 m3, is dug completely out of rock at a depth of 600 metres.
The Santa Massenza power plant is temporarily not accessible, but it is possible to visit the Riva del Garda power plant

The calendar and prices on display may be subject to variations, which shall be duly indicated.
The tour of the plant may be subject to limits and the visiting service may be temporarily suspended for technical or operational reasons. The management shall give due notice.

Schools and organised groups can visit the plant upon advance booking. Tours may also be organised outside the normal opening times, by booking in advance.
How to book a tour for organised groups?
Contact the Booking Office at the number +39 0461 032486, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm; you will receive the booking confirmation form by email. Remember to book the tour at least 5 days in advance.

The booking confirmation form must be presented at the ticket desk upon arrival to collect the tickets.
Payment methods
Directly at the ticket desk, in cash (only for amounts up to € 999.00 without an invoice), by cash card or credit card.
Bank transfer in favour of Dolomiti Energia, Description of payment: "Guided tour at S. Massenza power plant" on (dd/mm/yy of the visit) Rif. (group name or contact person)"
If an invoice is required, this must be stated on the booking form together with the necessary information.
Group prices
Price: 10.00 Euro (minimum 20 partecipants)
Tickets purchased at the "Special Group Price with booking" MAY NOT BE REFUNDED under any circumstances.
A maximum of 25 people may take part in each guided tour.
